Inside

Front, living room, stair, bedroom

These are examples of the houses we buy and later sell. They are not on the market through us this week, and they are not homes we let to tenants.

The front, in daylight or at dusk

We start at the door. A light that works, steps that are even, and a garage door that closes tell us more than a fresh coat of paint. If the render is cracked, say so in the first note.

A room you can sit in

Daylight, a floor you can walk, and space for a sofa without blocking the door. We do not need a styled shoot. A photo taken on an ordinary afternoon is more useful.

How the rooms join

A stair, a table, and a view through to the kitchen show whether the house works as one place. We look at the rail, the tread, and whether you can carry a tray from the kitchen without a squeeze.

Bedrooms, counted as rooms

We count a room that can take a bed and still leave a path to the door. A cupboard with a window does not count. Light and a door that shuts are enough.

We meet at the house

Keppoch Street is for letters. If a building is worth a look, we agree a time by email and meet there. Send the road and the town if you want us to see it.
